UCalgary Student Wellness Services
In order to prevent the continuous spread of COVID-19, the Student Wellness Services is offering remote services only.
Any concern regarding COVID-19 can be directed to Alberta Health Services for consultation or call 811.
Health Appointment: A UCalgary student can call 403-210-9355 to arrange a virtual appointment. Although in-person appointments are available, they are limited.
Mental Health Support: sar@ucalgary.ca can be contacted. If the matter is immediate, it’s recommended to contact their After-hour mental health support available.

This site gives access to several mental health supports, connecting people with similar experiences, and volunteering opportunities. They aim to reduce the stigma on mental health issues and examine institutional policies. For example, the faculty and staff, such as Nancy Chimbry and Damian Goussis, share their vulnerability and compassion.

This website provides training for students in research, which is fairly common in the Science of Faculty.
Research skill is one of the most important skills to learn in science and the Research for Undergraduates provides this experience by placing them in a “real world” setting.
They also help with choosing a Masters or Ph.D. for prospective students and if these are the ideal path for them.

Technovation is a global tech education non-profit that empowers girls and families to become leaders, creators, and problem-solvers. Technovation Girls equips young women ages 10-18 with the skills to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders.
